Going on holiday can be stressful enough. However, when you have your dog(s) to think about to putting them in kennels can be rather daunting.
Thats where home boarding comes in. Your dog(s) comes to stay in my home and has their own fun adventures with me while you are away.
I can send you daily updates if required on how your dog(s) is getting on.

During your dog’s home boarding stay with us, there may be occasions when they are left unattended for a maximum of 3 hours. Rest assured, we ensure that these instances are minimized and that your dog is in a safe and secure environment during our absence. If your dog has specific needs or requires more constant supervision, please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements to accommodate their care requirements.
A Family Home Environment
Your dog(s) will stay within my family home which is full of love. You can rest resured your dog(s) will be well loved after with daily walks.
I will try to stick to their usual routine as much as possible. Home boarding in Whitburn is a great alternative to dog boarding kennels.
Your dogs can enjoy walks at Polkemmet Country Park as well as Beecraigs. There is lots of open space for them to enjoy on their walks.
Home Boarding Rules
- Maximum 3 dogs at any one time. Different households may be taken at any one time
- Must be used to children.
- Must be dog and cat friendly
- No dogs over 40kg
- No unneutered males over 6 months of age
- As I have resident pets a familiarisation visit must be completed before the first stay.
- Dogs must be vaccinated/flea treatment given and proof must be shown/dates
- On your dog(s) departure date, if you are picking them up after 10am then the departure date is charged at full rate. Please advise at time of booking an estimate for pick up of your dog(s) so that an accurate quote can be given. If for any reason your dog(s) need to stay longer due to unexpected delays these will be charged accordingly, and payment will be due upon return. Pick up times must be arranged at least 2 days in advance of pick up
PM - 4pm to 8pm
Please make sure you advise in advance and a time is confirmed.
I will not home-board any dog(s) that are not child and dog friendly.
If your dog(s) have ever attacked or bit a dog/child/adult please be honest and let me know. If it comes apparent you have not told the truth then boarding will be terminated to keep everyone safe.
